Several members of the American Medical Billing Association (AMBA) have requested and obtained official proclamations from their state Governor's that officially recognize Medical Biller's Day on March 27, 2008. This will be the first Medical Biller's Day of recognition.
Cyndee Weston, Executive Director of AMBA, believes that Medical Billers deserve recognition for all their efforts, long hours of work and professionalism they strive to achieve in providing medical billing services to health care providers. Medical Billers work hard to comply with state and Federal regulations as well as learning all that goes into providing professional medical billing services. AMBA members, as well as Medical Billers from across the nation are deserving of a day they can be officially recognized and one that they can celebrate nationally.
The Association, along with Local Chapters, will be holding celebratory festivities throughout the day.
