One of the world's top ten pharmaceutical companies purchases a global site license to access presentations from the American Heart Association's (AHA) Scientific Sessions 2007 through Ekatius™, a new online event knowledge platform from Conference Archives.

Occurring every November, AHA Scientific Sessions is the leading forum for world-renowned experts and faculty to present cutting-edge clinical and research-oriented cardiovascular science. Ekatius™ enables pharmaceutical personnel to search for and review over 2800 rich media oral presentations representing over 830 hours of content from Scientific Sessions 2007.

Nearly all oral presentations captured at Scientific Sessions 2007 are synchronized - audio and slides - to mimic the experience of an oral presentation's live delivery. Each oral presentation is transcribed, and the transcription is synchronized to the audio and slides of a presentation.

Additionally, the Ekatius™ platform has advanced search functionalities that allow users to search for event knowledge - abstracts, posters, and oral presentations from a meeting - either within a specific event or across several events. Secure online workgroup functionalities in Ekatius™ facilitate communication and collaboration.
