InventHelp Client Invents Catheter Accessory For Patients Using Foley Catheter Urinary Drainage Bags

InventHelp announces that two of its clients, inventors from Drexel, N.C., have designed a health care accessory for individuals using Foley catheter urinary drainage bags. The inventors have created a prototype.

Producible in multiple designs, the B & B HANGER would make it easier for health care providers to move patients with catheters. This convenient accessory also could provide a person using a catheter with greater mobility and comfort. In addition, the B & B HANGER may help to prevent contamination of equipment.

The inventors developed the B & B HANGER based on one inventor's experience working at a hospital. "Working with patients who used catheter urinary drainage bags, I saw the need for a product to help improve their mobility," she said.

The original design was submitted to the Charlotte office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
