The Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University will host a research symposium on the interaction between nutrition and genes on cancer development on Wednesday, April 17th, from 12:00 - 4:00pm at Georgetown University Medical Center; Research Building Auditorium, 3970 Reservoir Rd, NW, Washington DC. br>
Scientists from the four institutions funded by a National Cancer Institute interdisciplinary research consortium will present findings from over the past five years of the program. br>
The goal of the initiative, dedicated to "Nutritional Modulation of Genetic Pathways Leading to Cancer," is to expand and facilitate fundamental research that will define the molecular basis by which dietary components influence cancer prevention. br>
