The ACUSON X300 Premium Edition (PE) has been launched by Siemens to join the expanding range of digital ultrasound solutions. The new device offers superior image quality, advanced features for a wide range of clinical applications and is a future proof platform for feature upgrades.

The ACUSON X300 PE system delivers excellent image quality for a confident diagnosis. It is engineered for use across a variety of applications including cardiac, intracardiac echo, obstetrics, gynaecology, vascular and breast imaging.

It can run several advanced Cardiology application packages including stress echo, syngo Velocity Vector Imaging and syngo Arterial Health Package, which can be used to determine a patient's vascular age. Together with syngo Auto Left Heart, these applications turn the X300 PE into an ideal solution which considerably simplifies and accelerates the workflow in echocardiography and vascular diagnosis.

The system features a customisable architecture that allows users to address their routine and advanced needs. The integrated DIMAQ-IP workstation provides easy digital acquisition, storage, review and transfer of ultrasound studies. Plus, the optional TGO tissue grayscale optimisation technology streamlines workflow for greater clinical efficiency.

The X300 PE is compact in size to fit into tight clinical spaces and incorporates an internal battery for easy operational movement. It has also been ergonomically designed and features an intuitive and height adjustable control panel for multiple users.

The ACUSON X300 PE is now available for order in the UK.
