Advocacy Initiative In Full Swing During ASHP Summer Meeting

Ever wish that you could influence the decisions made in Congress? You can take the first step by participating in ASHP's "Make a Date with Congress" campaign, which will kick off during ASHP's Summer Meeting in Seattle.

ASHP will provide a special link for you to send an e-mail to your congressional representatives inviting them to get the pharmacist's view on important health care issues during the upcoming August recess. Your outreach will be the first step in building an ongoing relationship with legislators and their staff and will go a long way towards boosting ASHP's advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill. You can participate even if you won't be in Seattle. Look for the link in the June 5 edition of the Advocacy NewsLink.

Saturday, June 7, 2:30 -4:30 p.m. (Open Forum)
Sunday, June 8, 2:00-4:30 p.m. and Tuesday, June 10, 4:30-6:00 p.m. (House of Delegates)
