Senator John McCain and Senator Barack Obama both have plans to tackle health care reform during the next administration. Now AARP is bringing together top health care experts for a debate on the biggest problem facing the system: skyrocketing health care costs. Unsustainable growth is making health care unaffordable for millions of Americans, increasing the pressure on Medicare and Medicaid and dragging down the competitiveness of American business.

David Cutler, Professor of Economics, Harvard University, is also an advisor on health policy issues for the Obama campaign.

Thomas Miller, Resident Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and former senior health economist for the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress, is also an advisor on health policy for the McCain campaign.

Moderated by National Public Radio's Julie Rovner, with an introduction by AARP's John Rother.
