Free Vaccine Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about vaccine-preventable diseases and empowering individuals to be a part of the solution, has launched GiveVaccines.org. The site features a fast-paced vocabulary quiz focusing on word roots, English words and medical terminology. For every correct answer, GiveVaccines.org will donate .01 milliliter (ml) of life-saving vaccine to the GAVI Alliance vaccine program.

"By playing the online quiz at GiveVaccines.org, you can improve your English vocabulary skills, enhance your command of medical terminology and help save lives worldwide," said Dr. Samuel Rabinowitz, chairman, Free Vaccine. "Each year, nearly 2.5 million children succumb to diseases that could be averted through vaccination. Free Vaccines is dedicated to decreasing this alarming number, as well as increasing awareness about vaccine-preventable diseases."

According to the GAVI Alliance, one in four children living in the world's developing nations do not have access to the most basic health services. These children are 10 times more likely to die from preventable diseases than children in countries where vaccines are readily available.

Reflexology - Finding Relief from Your Feet
Reflexology - Finding Relief from Your Feet

A reflexology treatment like this involves applying pressure to certain points on the feet in order to affect other parts of the body. Proponents say that by pressing on these points, you can work on organs in the body. While there isn’t much scientific evidence to back up the theory behind reflexology, studies indicate it can reduce stress, which can be good for your health.
