The following statistics were released by the Department of Health:

Dental Reform Monitoring for quarter ending June 2008. This data shows the number of Units of Dental Activity (UDAs) commissioned for 2008-09 as at 30th June 2008.

Key findings this quarter:

-- 152 of the 152 Commissioners (PCTs and Care Trusts) returned data.
-- 81 million UDAs have been commissioned for 2008-09 as at 30th June 2008.
-- This represents an increase of 1.4 million (1.7%) on the UDAs commissioned for 2007-08.
