Are you aged 18 years or over and have been diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes within the last six months?

If so we would like you to consider taking part in a focus group to discuss Diabetes UK's popular booklet, 'Understanding Diabetes', which is to be updated.

Share your experience with us

A draft update will be circulated prior to the meeting and you will be given the opportunity on the day to express your views about the booklet and whether it contains the information you would have wanted to receive on diagnosis.

Updated information for the newly diagnosed

Your views are important and will help shape the development of this booklet and ensure it meets the needs of the newly diagnosed.

The group will meet at Central Office, 10 Parkway, Camden, London NW1 7AA on Wednesday 27 August 2008, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

We would like to hear from you

If selected you will be reimbursed for your time and travel expenses.

If you are interested in helping us and would like to find out more, please contact the User Involvement Team on 020 7424 1000, or email user.involvement@diabetes.org.uk by Friday 15 August.
