Diabetes UK has enhanced and extended the Pregnancy and diabetes section of its website. These webpages help to explain the diverse issues that affect women with diabetes when planning for a family and during their pregnancy.

The site provides information to support expectant parents, their families and healthcare professionals. It also benefits from new case studies from women who have been affected, whose stories dramatically bring the issues into focus.

We would like to thank our volunteers who have generously shared their experiences with us to help support others.

If you are a parent, family or carer with personal experience of pregnancy and diabetes, we would like to hear your story. Please visit the Pregnancy and diabetes webpages and use the form under 'Related information' to submit your story, or call the Press team at Diabetes UK on 020 7424 1000.

The Pregnancy and diabetes web section is sponsored by The Learning Curve, an educational initiative exclusively for healthcare professionals.
