Pediatrics Bioethics Conference To Be Held In Jacksonville, Florida, October 10-11, 2008 - Conference Will Feature Experts In The Field

Wolfson Children's Hospital, in conjunction with the University of North Florida and the Florida Bioethics Network, will hold a Pediatrics Bioethics Conference, October 10-11, 2008.

The conference will be held at the Prime Osborne Convention Center, 1000 Water Street. A Welcome Reception will be held at the Wyndham Riverwalk Hotel, 1515 Prudential Drive, on October 10 from 7 - 10 pm.

The conference will feature talks by experts in the field on pressing issues in pediatric bioethics, ethical issues at the edge of viability, cultural and religious considerations in the pediatric clinical context, and the challenges of moral distress. Health professionals with an interest or a need for continuing education in the specialized area of pediatric bioethics are encouraged to attend.
