British Lung Foundation supports the publication of the Beyond Smoking Kills report being launched by Action on Smoking & Health (ASH).
"Two thirds of people with smoking-related lung disease tell us there should be a ban on cigarette vending machines in future and the same number say they want to see cigarettes removed from display in supermarkets" says Jill Morrell, Head of Public Affairs at the British Lung Foundation.
"These people have experienced the devastating impact of smoking-related damage to the lungs and want to prevent it happening to others in the future. Adopting the recommendations in the Beyond Smoking Kills report will help to make that a reality."
