Scalp Psoriasis - Dermipsor Signs Strategic Drug Development Collaboration With VA Boston Research Institute, Inc

Dermipsor Ltd, a clinical-stage leading drug development company focusing on novel therapies for the dermatology market, announces signing a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the VA Boston Research Institute, Inc.

Under the terms of the Cooperative Research and Development Agreement this collaborations framework covers the advancement of Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials. Initially the agreement will focus on implementing a scalp psoriasis Phase 2 study with Dermipsor's second product, DPS-102, a novel non-steroidal synergistic combination topical treatment for scalp psoriasis. This study is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2008. In parallel, the company continues preparations for its plaque psoriasis Phase 3 clinical trial with its leading drug DPS-101.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is a US Federal arm that provides healthcare services to US veterans through the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). VA treats 23.8 million living veterans. VHA delivers health care through 21 Veterans Integrated Service Networks that manage 153 medical centers, and 731 community-based outpatient clinics. In 2007 VHA provided healthcare services to approximately 5.5 million unique patients and 55.7 million outpatients' visits in 2007.
