The NPA has updated its information leaflet on Veterinary Medicines in response to the Veterinary Regulations 2008. The resource is available to download from the NPA's members' website.

The information leaflet is designed to summarise the important issues surrounding the supply of veterinary medicines. The resource outlines the classification of veterinary medicines, prescription and supply restrictions and requirements. The leaflet also provides advice on record and audit keeping and has details of veterinary medicine suppliers.

The Veterinary Regulations are reviewed and updated on an annual basis; therefore the current information leaflet is valid until October 2009. 'Veterinary Medicines' can be downloaded from the NPA's Document Store by logging onto http://www.npa.co.uk/members. Members can also contact the NPA's Information department on 01727 891800 or email information(at)npa.co.uk for further information.
