QSAI, Takasaki University of Health and Welfare Find That Agaricus Extract May Prevent and Cure Lifestyle-related Diseases.

Tokyo (JCNN) - QSAI, a leading Japanese kale juice manufacturer, announced September 1 that it disclosed the results of its latest research on agaricus extract at the 8th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Mushroom Science and Biotechnology held at Kinki University on the same day.

The research jointly conducted with Takasaki University of Health and Welfare has confirmed that an extract derived from Agaricus blazei murill, a kind of mushroom grown on a chemical-free kale culture medium, has preventive and curative properties against lifestyle-related diseases, especially hyperlipemia and hypertension.

QSAI has been marketing QSAI Agaricus, a health food product made of agaricus, nationwide since April.
