Astra Zeneca waits for FDA decision on Exanta (anticoagulant)

The FDA of the USA will soon decide whether to approve Exanta. Exanta is Astra Zeneca's anti-stroke drug. It is the first blood thinning drug to be developed for more than fifty years.
Exanta has the potential to replace Warfarin if the FDA approves it. If it is approved it should hit the US market some time next years. Business analysts are saying its annual sales could reach $3 billion per year.
