Ronald M. Fairman, M.D., Professor of Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and Chief, Division of Vascular Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, reported on the timing, location, severity and type of strokes occurring with CAS in the CAPTURE study.

Dr. Bartoli advocates for close monitoring of the blood pressure in the pre-, peri-, and post-operative periods, along with a close collaboration between neurologist and surgeon to determine the best timing for surgery.
