TomTec, leading provider of medical imaging software solutions for multimodality quantification, visualization and image management, and Medis, a leading provider of quantification software solutions, today announced the launch of a joint cardiac imaging and analysis product for X-ray angiography and ultrasound.
The combined solution is a fully integrated software package that consists of TomTec's Image-Arena™ and Medis' QAngio® XA quantification software. It will be available as one platform that can be integrated into the products of partnering medical device manufacturers and that connects to existing PACS, HIS, CPACS and CVIS in hospitals. The software solution drastically reduces the integration effort for industry partners and for hospitals that want to optimize their imaging and analysis processes and data management.
"Medis' cardiac quantification software perfectly complements the strengths of Image-Arena™." said Frank Schlau, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at TomTec. "Cardiac quantification and image management on one platform for vendor independent imaging information will greatly enhance hospital workflow."
"The Image-Arena™ platform will bring Medis' cardiac analysis software as one single solution to our partners in the medical imaging industry," said Hans H.C. Reiber, Medis' President and CEO. "It's a combined solution that shortens the lead time of integration projects and reduces costs."
