Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. Announces Three Studies Of Oral Factor Xa Inhibitor DU-176b

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. (TSE: 4568), announced that results from three studies of its investigational molecule, DU-176b, will be presented at the 50th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Hematology (ASH), to be held December 6 - 9, 2008, in San Francisco. The data accepted for the ASH meeting are part of the clinical development of DU-176b, an oral Factor Xa inhibitor being investigated to prevent the formation of blood clots.
