De Yang From The National Cancer Institute To Speak At The 7th Cytokines And Inflammation Conference

Dr. De Yang, Senior Scientist of the Cellular Immunology Group at the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health will present at the 7th Cytokines and Inflammation Conference on January 29-30, 2009 in San Diego, CA.

Dr. Yang from the NCI will give a presentation on "Alarmin Regulation of Inflammation and Immunity" on January 30, 2009 at 8:45 on the second morning of the conference.

Dr. Yang will discuss in detail two different alarmins, describing their properties, the types of immune responses induced by them as well as their potential influence.

Attendees of the conference on January 29th and 30th will gain an understanding of the alarmin concept, the roles of alarmins, the underlying mechanism(s), and the importance of alarmins in the induction of inflammatory and/or immune responses.

The goal of the 7th Annual Cytokines and Inflammation Conference is to provide an overview of the state of the art developments in cytokine signaling & regulation, inflammation, cancer, pathogenesis of diseases, chemokines, technological developments, cytokine receptors. The conference bringing together a mix of academic, industry (Pharma and Biotech) and public sector experts in an intimate setting that favors the showcase of data, the exchange of ideas and networking.
