Mobile Doctors announces a new date for its 'Excellence in Report Writing' training in response to demand from GPs and specialists.

Mobile Doctors, one of the UK's leading providers of medical evidence, is pleased to announce an additional date for its 'Excellence in Report Writing' courses, which provide training on how to compile medico-legal reports and give evidence in court to General Practitioners (GPs) and specialists.

The Course will take place on the 19th March at the Mobile Doctors Head Office in Woodford Green, Essex.

The company, which has over 2,500 doctors on its books providing medical reports and appearing in court to give evidence in personal injury, medical negligence, employer and public liability cases amongst others, has been running training courses for nearly three years.

Dr. Jeremy Harris, a recent course attendee, said of the experience: "The organisation of the course and the hospitality offered by Mobile Doctors were both excellent. The course tutor obviously enjoyed her job and she guided us with great enthusiasm through the day. At the end of the day I felt much more confident and knowledgeable about what makes an ideal medico-legal report."

Run by Mobile Doctors, and supported by legal training consultancy Bond Solon, the course provides practical exercises on various topics, including writing reports, reviewing and critiquing completed cases. It encourages discussions to exchange ideas on what makes the perfect report, as well as looking at how experts and reporting fit into the litigation process, what an expert witness is and what is required in the courtroom.

Tricia Livett, course leader, commented: "We continue to provide these courses as the demand and uptake is high, and feedback remains so positive. There is widespread agreement amongst GPs and specialists that the importance of completing medical reports to a high standard is paramount, and knowing how to do so effectively, as well as give evidence in court, is important for GPs and specialists in their busy and often hectic lives."

Dr. Deb, who attended a training course last year, explains: "I found the course I attended to be extremely useful, it made me more confident when preparing medical reports. It helped both to improve and to some extent change my medico-legal practice. I would definitely recommend the course to other specialists."

Mobile Doctors is the longest established and a leading provider of medical evidence with over 20 years experience within the medico-legal market. The company has grown organically to become one of the leading suppliers of medico-legal reports for personal injury claims in the UK. It provides independent and objective medical evidence via a national panel of medical experts and therapists.

Mobile Doctors has a database of approximately 2,500 medical experts covering many areas of the UK and currently provides approximately 70,000 reports out of approximately 600,000 reports required annually.

In addition to its core medical report service, Mobile Doctors has also successfully developed a comprehensive medical investigation, diagnostic and rehabilitation service. Provided in partnership with Nuffield Diagnostics and Nuffield Health, the clinically governed services include physiotherapy treatment for claimants' musculo-skeletal disorders.

Mobile Doctors Plc listed on AIM on 18th July 2007. With its' blue-chip partners and institutional shareholders Mobile Doctors is headed by a committed and proven management team.
