WHO continues to advise that restrictions of regular travel or the closure of borders is not advised. If you are ill you should postpone any international travel, and if you develop symptoms when returning from a trip you should seek medical attention in line with guidance from national authorities

In the United Kingdom, authorities are asking people who develop symptoms after returning from international trips to call their doctors, rather than physically going in to see them. This is to prevent potential infection of other people. One understands that this means the doctor will come to your house and check you out.

If you are used to consuming well-cooked pork meats and pork products, you should know that there is no added risk to your health if you continue to do so, stresses WHO.
