If you are ill you should seriously consider delaying your international trip. If you develop symptoms after travelling abroad you should seek medical attention, in line with your national authority guidance, says WHO. Some countries, such as the UK, are asking people to call their doctor if they have symptoms of swine flu, and not to come in - the aim is to prevent further infection of people.
WHO does not advise the restriction of regular travel or the closure of borders.
