The 2nd annual European Congress on Anti-Aging & Aesthetic Medicine (ECAAAM) will take place at the Congress Centre, Mainz, near Frankfurt, 15-17 October 2009. Mainz has strong ties with the medical community, with a large medical student population and a University hospital with over 50 specialised departments.

ECAAAM is held in partnership with the European Society of Anti-Aging Medicine (ESAAM), the World Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (WAAAM), and the American Academy of Anti-Aging (A4M). ECAAAM is also supported by a variety of European medical associations including the German Association of Mesotherapy, the International Society of Applied Preventive Medicine and the European Society of Gene and Cell therapy to name a few. Originally launched in Düsseldorf in 2008, with over 1000 participants, the event attracted a range of physicians from various medical disciplines wanting to advance their knowledge about the latest anti-aging & aesthetic techniques from over 60 international leading speakers.

ECAAAM will include a scientific medical programme, commercial and non-commercial workshops, a medical spa workshop and a comprehensive exhibition. Attendees of the scientific lectures will also be eligible for CME credits which demonstrate a physician's dedication to continued learning.

ECAAAM is proud to announce their high profile international scientific committee who will advise and select topics and speakers for the programme. Members include experts in gynecology Johannes Huber and Erdogan Ertungleap; endocrinologists Christian Wüster and Thomas Rabe; specialists in Stem Cell applications such as Augustinus Bader and Michael Klentze; preventive medicine leaders Aubrey de Grey, Claus Muss, Wolfram Kunz and Michael Colgan; aesthetic experts Andreas Katsambas, Britta Knoll, and Christos Zouboulis.

ECAAAM is currently offering an incredible super early discount available to those who register before 22nd May 2009. A three day FULL ACCESS pass will allow delegates access to all the scientific conference sessions, workshops, exhibition, congress material, CME certificate and daily refreshments, all for €95 (normally €450).

ECAAAM is sponsored for the 2nd year running by Ondamed who commented "ECAAAM is the platform where our international team of practitioners and business partners meet "live" to advance both our approach to a better health and wellness model while growing the vast opportunities in the market place. This conference was a great success for Ondamed in its first year of our sponsorship and we are excited to now sponsor the 2009 event." ECAAAM proved to be an essential platform for over 150 global anti-aging suppliers in the anti-aging and aesthetic industry to showcase their groundbreaking products and treatments to European medical professionals.

Matt Thompson, Project Director comments "We are looking forward to ECAAAM arriving in Mainz, anti-aging & aesthetic medicine is an area that is attracting an increasing amount of consumer & medical attention and we aim to deliver a high quality event that communicates the latest developments to physicians and provides valuable business leads and network opportunities".

We look forward to welcoming exhibitors and delegates to the 2nd edition of ECAAAM, which promises to be an interesting and simulating congress.
