Diabetes UK supporters Harrison Ward, 11, and Cole Barnard, 6, appeared on BBC 1's The One Show this week to highlight inequalities in support for children with diabetes at school.
The young stars were interviewed by presenter Dominic Littlewood, who has Type 1 diabetes. The programme also featured Diabetes UK Care Advisor Libby Dowling explaining the possible causes of Type 1 diabetes.
Paul McDonald, Head of Media at Diabetes UK, said: "This was an excellent programme that helped to raise awareness of the importance of appropriate support at school for all children and young people with diabetes. The primetime show also highlighted the difference between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
"I would like to thank Harrison, Cole, their parents and Harrison's school for taking part."
To view the programme visit the BBC iPlayer site. The show will be available until 7:29pm Monday 29th June 2009. The section on Diabetes starts at 14 minutes into the programme.
