Ask Your Pharmacist Week (9-15 November) materials are now available to download from the NPA members' website. Materials include posters, a questions and answers document, template press releases and a template letter to MPs to attend the launch of Ask Your Pharmacist Week.
8 posters are available to download - 7 posters are specific to each of the 7 services being promoted throughout the Week with the eighth being a general Ask Your Pharmacist poster. The services being promoted during Ask Your Pharmacist Week are: allergy screening, chlamydia test and treat, health checks, Medicines Use Reviews, minor ailments, pharmacist prescribing and smoking cessation.
The questions and answers document will help NPA members answer any queries they receive from the media and others. 7 template press releases have been written specifically for each of the 7 services for members to modify and send to their local media.
John Turk, NPA Chief Executive said: "Ask Your Pharmacist is an opportunity to promote the good work that community pharmacy is doing throughout the UK. To encourage MPs to attend the Ask Your Pharmacist launch on 4 November at the House of Commons, we are asking all our members to modify and send the template letter to their local MP and to inform their local press about the Week."
Campaign materials for Ask Your Pharmacist Week are available to download from the NPA Campaigns area on http://www.npa.co.uk/members.
