'My Life With Diabetes' Competitions - Your Chance To Win Exciting Goodies, UK

Do you want to see your best photos and stories on the Diabetes UK website and win fabulous prizes in the process?
Diabetes UK has just launched two exciting competitions for young budding photographers and writers who want to share with others their experience of living with diabetes.
Photo competition
The first is a photo competition that gives young adults with diabetes the opportunity to have their photos published on the 'My Life' section of the Diabetes UK website with the added bonus of a chance to win a Linx digital photo frame and Flip Ultra HD digital camcorder. The theme is 'My life with diabetes' and entrants can submit their photos through Flickr. The deadline for submissions is Friday 15 January 2010. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
Short stories competition
The second is a short stories competition , which gives children and teenagers a chance to write a short story about their experience of living with diabetes and have it published on the 'My Life' section within the Diabetes UK website. They can also win a Nintendo DS Lite with Nintendogs game, plus a Nintendog Puppy Playmate. On top of that, two runners-up will each win a fantastic family ticket to Drayton Manor theme park. The deadline for the writing competition is Friday 15 January 2010.

'My Life' is made up of three websites dedicated to children, teens and young adults with diabetes. Each site provides information and support specifically relevant to people in these age groups, as well as fun features such as games, competitions, videos and celebrity interviews.
