A male nurse is being charged with 4 murders of elderly patients at Leeds General Infirmary, UK. He is also charged with the attempted murder of two more patients.

He had been arrested in 2002 regarding the death of an 86-year old patient at Leeds General Infirmary. When he answered bail last week he was charged with murder. He will appear in court on Thursday.

The charges relate to the deaths of:
-- Doris Ludlam, 80
-- Bridget Bourke
-- Ethel Hall, 86
-- Irene Crooks, 79

All the patients died in 2002 at the Leeds General Infirmary.
