Revatio has been launched in the UK for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a rare lung disorder that most commonly affects women aged 20-40. Revatio has the same active ingredient as Viagra - sildenafil.

Revatio was launched in Germany in January, 2006 and in the USA in August, 2005.

Revatio was approved in the European Union in November, 2005.

Approximately 100,000 people globally suffer from PAH.
