Tokyo, (JCN) - Tokyo Women's Medical University, Order-Made Souyaku and NTT Data jointly announced on March 23 that they have started research for establishing tailor-made treatment for rheumatoid arthritis.
The three partners aim to create a system for enabling evidence-based medicine. Tokyo Women's Medical University will accumulate and provide evidences in drug efficacy, side effects and gene polymorphism, Order-Made Souyaku will provide devices and reagents for SNP typing, and NTT Data will handle the construction and improvement of system based on the evidences provided.
A prototype system currently runs at the Institute of Rheumatology, Tokyo Women's Medical University.
