Tokyo, April, 2006 (JCN) - Takeda Pharmaceutical has launched Passif, its proprietary sustained release capsule of morphine hydrochloride.
Available in three dosages 30mg, 60mg and 120mg, the new agent is indicated for the treatment of pain control for cancer patients with moderate to severe pain. It can exert beneficial effects with a once-a-day dosage.
