According the the Daily Telegraph, the UK government should not continue to ignore public concerns about the alleged side effects of the MMR vaccine.
The paper says that if the government does, the UK might risk having a measles, mumps or rubella epidemic.
Why are GPs not allowed to give children individual jabs, at least for the time being, asks the paper.
The newspaper has accused the government of being high handed in dealing with parents' concerns.
Another UK newspaper is calling into question the conflicts of interest the government has regarding the MMR vaccine as some government advisors, they say, have links with drug firms.
