To mark World Asthma Day 2007, The Lung Association today thanked Prime Minister Stephen Harper; Stéphane Dion, Leader of the Opposition; and, NDP M.P. Peter Stoffer for their messages calling Canadians to take action on this day highlighting a disease that affects almost 3 million Canadians.

The Lung Association appreciates the partnership of Parliamentarians from all parties in taking action to reduce air pollution and its harmful effects on the respiratory health of Canadians.
