Of all the people arrested so far in connection with the failed terrorist attempts in Glasgow and London, eight have links with the British National Health Service. The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) indicated that seven are doctors, medical students and a laboratory technician.
The eight people who have been arrested in Australia, England and Scotland all worked in National Health Hospitals.
-- Dr Mohammed Haneef, who was arrested in Brisbane Airport, Australia, worked at Halton Hospital, Runcorn, Cheshire, England. He was arrested while boarding a plane bound for India.
-- Another doctor, who was arrested in Australia, worked in Liverpool, England.
-- Marwah Dana Asha was arrested on the motorway M6, England. She used to be a laboratory technician at a hospital in Shrewsbury, England.
-- Dr. Mohammed Asha, husband of Marwah Dana Asha, worked at North Staffordshire NHS Trust's University Hospital, England.
-- Bilal Abdullah worked as a locum at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley, Scotland.
-- Two others, who worked at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley, Scotland, were also arrested.
-- A man who was arrested in Liverpool, Lime Street area, is a doctor and worked in the same hospital Dr. Haneef
