GE Healthcare Signs Imaging Solutions Agreement With Novation

GE Healthcare announced that it has signed an agreement with Novation for GE's advanced radiology and cardiology image and information management technologies. Novation is the health care contracting services company for VHA Inc. and the University Health System Consortium, two national health care alliances.

Through Novation, the agreement will be offered to VHA, UHC and Provista member health care organizations. Under the terms of this three-year agreement, which takes effect Oct. 1, 2007, GE Healthcare will provide VHA and UHC members with clinical breadth and depth in leading-edge technologies and services that will help simplify workflow, enhance diagnostic certainty, and improve outcomes.

GE will provide its Centricity RIS-IC, Centricity Radiology PACS, Centricity CVIS, and Centricity Cardiology PACS as part of this agreement.
