As part of a NHS campaign on flu, Diabetes UK is working with the Department of Health to gather some important information on flu prevention.
The Department of Health, in association with several major charities, launched the flu poll on 3 September, which will run until Friday 21 September.
The flu campaign will be launched around the beginning of October.
Cathy Moulton, Care Advisor at Diabetes UK, said: "For people with diabetes, flu can really upset their diabetes control causing blood glucose levels to fluctuate.
"People with diabetes are a high risk group when it comes to flu. It can leave them open to the threat of health problems and an increased risk of complications such as pneumonia and bronchitis. This survey will provide important information in the fight against flu."
