The next key phase of the NPA's Ask Your Pharmacist 2007 campaign began this week. This date was planned to coincide with Ask About Medicines Week- http://www.askaboutmedicines.org.

GMTV is running 8 different one-minute editorial features that will be on-air twice a day at 7.20am and 8.20am called 'Wake up to winter'. These will be programmes made by GMTV and will be fronted by Dr Hilary Jones and nutritionist Amanda Hamilton.

Following these editorial features, an NPA 10-second sponsored piece (not an advertisement) will encourage viewers to ask their local pharmacist for further information.

This activity is forecasted to reach 4,576,000 adults including 1,004,400 mothers with children across the week.

1. Meanwhile within the national press we continue with our fortnightly 'Ask Your Pharmacist' column in the Daily Express featuring NPA pharmacist Ruth Wakeman.

2. Local press advertising activity across the UK with linked member support material also continues. NPA members can view and download the support material via 'campaign builder' on the members' area of the NPA website.
