MediLexicon International Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch of the re-designed www.Medilexicon.com website. MediLexicon is the largest health related abbreviation / acronym search facility on the internet - in fact MediLexicon is listed in Alexa as the 3rd most popular acronym site on the internet in any category. As with MediLexicon International's other websites, medilexicon.com is free to access and advertiser funded.

MediLexicon is more than just a free, searchable abbreviation database though - it also has the following search databases: The new design has modernized the look and feel of MediLexicon offering an easier more enjoyable user experience. The site now offers users a quick and easy search facility at the top of each web page. This search facility uses the latest AJAX technology to allow users to switch between search categories instantly, thus eliminating the need for users to reload a web page between each search category switch.

The site now includes an increased area for advertising, whilst presenting ads in a way that does not compromise the site's integrity. There is a dedicated area on the right hand side of the site for advertising channels, along with an advertising area built into the title section of each web page. The advertising areas have been designed to allow for a multitude of the most popular ranges of industry sized adverts.

Advertising units have also been adjusted to accommodate demand from advertisers with the 300 X 250 ad unit (the most popular size for video ads) being incorporated into the site above the fold.
