The Judge Group, a professional services firm specializing in Technology Consulting, Enterprise-Wide Staffing and Corporate Training, announced that its subsidiary, Judge Consulting Group, partnered with The Coalition of Cancer Cooperative Groups (CCCG) and the American Cancer Society (ACS) to provide ACS with web services in support of an Online Matching Service for clinical cancer trials. The system was launched on the ACS Cancer.org website this past September.

The goal of the ACS Matching Service is to help patients, their families and health care workers find clinical trials most appropriate to the patient's medical and personal situation. The foundation for the service was CCCG's TrialCheck® application and database of clinical trials on the CancerTrialsHelp.org website.

Using a hybrid model of off-shore and on-shore development teams, Judge Consulting Group provided a solution that allows public users of Cancer.org to quickly and easily match cancer trials from CCCG's TrialCheck® database. In addition, Judge Consulting Group delivered an online application to CCCG that allows the ACS clinical trial specialists, who are trained to answer questions about clinical trial participation, to assist cancer patients with their clinical trials searches.

"Integration with the American Cancer Society site was an important milestone for our organization. Judge Consulting Group provided technical leadership executed flawlessly during this project. Judge is an important part of our overall mission to improve patient awareness of clinical trials, facilitating access and promoting participation," said Larissa Tis, Sr. Director of eBusiness for the Coalition of Cancer Cooperative Groups.

"We are very pleased to provide application solutions to an organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life and survival of cancer patients," said Martin E. Judge Jr., CEO and Founder of The Judge Group.
