New Resources, Kaiser Family Foundation: The Kaiser Family Foundation has released resources that examine the results of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1987, which was intended to improve the quality of nursing home care. The resources include a chartpack, short film and briefing that analyze the history of the law, its provisions, and the progress and problems in providing quality assurance that have occurred in the past 20 years (Kaiser Family Foundation release, 12/7).
A webcast of the briefing is available online at kaisernetwork.org.
