Elsevier, the world-leading publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products and services is pleased to announce that it will hold the Third European Conference on Sensory and Consumer Research on 7-10 September 2008. Industry experts will be joining together to hear about cutting edge research and innovative ideas in sensory and consumer research. It will take place at the University of Applied Sciences, Hamburg, Germany, one of the largest universities for applied science.
With recent news of a new natural sweetener, Brazzein, which is 2000 times sweeter than sucrose, it is no surprise that food manufacturers are continually striving to introduce their latest research and innovations to the market. The Third European Conference on Sensory and Consumer Research will provide the ideal opportunity to find out how the latest findings in sensory science can be meaningfully used for successful product innovations. The three day conference will also look at the increased importance of sensory science in connection with innovative R&D and marketing, and how information relating to socio-demographic, psychographic and behavioural factors are responsible for consumer preferences.
The closing date for abstract submissions is 29 February 2008.
