Golden Living Joins The American Association For Long Term Care Nursing

Golden Living announced that it will provide membership in the American Association for Long Term Care Nursing (AALTCN) to all of its 331 skilled nursing facilities. Benefits of membership will be extended to the entire nursing department at each of the company's LivingCenters.

"We're excited about joining the AALTCN and providing its benefits to our clinical employees, because the AALTCN is the only association that unites and serves all levels of nursing staff," said Andrea Clark, Senior Vice President of Clinical Services for Golden Living. "Through this one organization, we will be able to address common issues and educational needs of our nurses and certified nursing assistants. Our membership in AALTCN will help to foster a sense of community and teamwork among our employees."

"Having a leading long-term care organization like Golden Living join our association is a true validation of our mission and objectives," said Charlotte Eliopoulos, Executive Director of AALTCN. "We're looking forward to working with Golden Living to help its nursing staff at all levels advance in their profession and improve quality of care."

As members of AALTCN, Golden Living clinical staff will have access to the association's publications and training programs as well a discounts at conferences and seminars. The association also offers professional development scholarships for qualifying members.
