The Winter issue of ASHP's quarterly member magazine, InterSections, looks at the unique practice environments of military pharmacists.

The issue's cover story, "On the Frontlines of Patient Care" features the practices of military pharmacists deployed overseas and in the States. The issue also takes a look at the cutting-edge care provided by pharmacists in other sectors of federal service, including the U.S. Public Health Service, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Indian Health Service.

The magazine also includes a profile of pharmacists' efforts to help evacuees from the southern California wildfires manage their medications, a look at the new architecture for hospital pharmacies, and a preview of ASHP's new mentoring program, MentorExchange.
