Published quarterly, Promotion and Education is a multilingual journal publishing peer-reviewed articles and practical information for a world-wide audience of professionals interested in health promotion and health education.

The Journal is central to the IUHPE's remit of promoting global health and the exchange of ideas, knowledge and know-how among health professionals internationally. Through this new partnership, subscribers will be able to access the journal online, including backfiles dating to 1993, through the SAGE Journals Online (SJO) platform.

"This publishing collaboration with SAGE greatly increases the value of membership in the International Union for Health Promotion and Education," commented Professor Maurice B Mittelmark, Editor-in-Chief of Promotion and Education.

"SAGE aims to be the natural home for authors, editors and societies and as such we see it as a key goal to widen access to important research," commented Ziyad Marar, Publishing Director and Deputy Managing Director, SAGE. He added,

"We are delighted to be working with IUHPE to widen Promotion and Education's reach internationally, both through providing greater accessibility and visibility online, and also through our sophisticated marketing capabilities."
