The National Academy of Sciences' Sackler Colloquium series will hold a meeting on gene regulatory networks. These networks represent the genomic program for the development of animal embryos, body parts, and cell types. The meeting will focus on four areas -- gene regulatory networks that control early embryonic development; gene networks later developmental processes; regulatory processes in complex multigenic systems; and understanding the generation of diversity and novelty during animal evolution.

Details:

The Sackler Colloquium, Gene Networks in Animal Development and Evolution, will take place Feb. 15 and 16 at the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Center, 100 Academy Way, Irvine, Calif. Click here to access program agenda and registration information.
