Please help us win the Everyclick.com Charity Challenge - we aim to raise as much money as possible for diabetes research.
We are also competing with other charities to win an extensive outdoor advertising campaign at over 1,500 sites across the UK.
How you can help
You can help us by using search engine http://www.Everyclick.com, which gives money to Diabetes UK every time you search the web. It's a simple way to raise vital funds, and it won't cost you or Diabetes UK a penny.
Everyclick.com works like any other search engine, allowing users to search for information, news and images, but users also specify a charity to benefit from their clicks - you can support Diabetes UK by visiting our dedicated Everyclick search page.
Raising funds and awareness
"We are delighted to be involved in the Charity Challenge," said Amanda Neylon, Website Manager at Diabetes UK.
"This is a simple, exciting new way for people to help us raise much-needed money for diabetes research.
"Winning the Charity Challenge and being able to gain access to free advertising space would also help us raise further awareness of diabetes and its devastating complications."
How the Challenge works
The three-month challenge began on 14 January 2008 and will end on 14 April 2008. Over 450 UK charities have already registered to participate in the Everyclick.com and Clear Channel Charity Challenge.
The average amount raised by each supporter will be calculated to find the winner in three categories based on the charity donor base size: small, medium and large.
To date, Everyclick.com has enabled over £376,000 to be donated to UK charities through clicks alone.
