The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), founded in 1985 as the first national professional organization for NPs of all specialties, will host their 2008 National Conference, June 26 thru July 1, at the Gaylord National on the Potomac.

The conference includes a full slate of expert faculty presentations of current, practical and clinically oriented evidence-based practice information in specialty areas such as acute care, adolescent/pediatric, adult/family, business/professional issues, gerontology, integrative medicine, men's health, occupational health, pharmacology, psychiatric/mental health, research, uniformed/military, and women's health.

State-of-the-art skills workshops and sessions on legislative, regulatory, and practice issues plus a packed exhibit hall filled with the latest products and services for the NP will all be held at this world-class resort hotel and convention center, located near Old Towne Alexandria, Georgetown and the endless wonders of our nation's capital.
