The objective of the grant is to provide the opportunity for committed, promising European young scientists in neuropsychopharmacology and/or closely related disciplines to expand their knowledge and/or skills by working on scientific projects and to study the practice of neuropsychopharmacology preferably in a different country, thereby also creating new and international connections. Accordingly, the research work should be carried out at a European academic department of neuropsychopharmacology and/or closely related discipline.

About ECNP

The European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (http://www.ecnp.eu/) was established in 1987 on the initiative of scientists and clinicians working in Europe in the convergent disciplines in neuropsychopharmacology. ECNP envisages to encourage research and to facilitate communication of research and ideas in this field.

To fulfil this aim ECNP has, amongst others, established the annual scientific congresses.

ECNP is founder member of the European Brain Council and the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies, and member of IUPHAR.
