Trials of the latest non-invasive slimming and body contouring treatment have just been successfully completed at 'The Heath House Clinic', a leading health and cosmetic clinic based in Kent. The new treatment is potentially market-changing, and is now available to the public for the very first time in the UK. However world wide these procedures are available in Canada, Japan, Korea and other countries during 2008.

The procedure is designed to reduce levels of unwanted fat using the Lapex Body Contouring System (BCS) which is quick, safe, pain-free and genuinely non-invasive. Laser Lipo treatments help create a new and improved look without any pain or discomfort instantly.

Most people are familiar with liposuction and some with the newer 'Smart Lipo' procedure. Laser Lipo however has some advantages over these due to the fact that there is no need for either local or general anaesthetics. Research has also shown that Laser Lipo treatment carried out both prior and post traditional liposuction will in fact improve the results by first softening the fat cells prior to liposuction and then helping to even out the treated area afterwards.

A Laser Lipo procedure can be completed in just 40 minutes and positive results can be seen INSTANTLY after just one treatment. To secure the best results a course of 8 treatments is normally required at a cost of just £1,000.

The Louisiana State University has carried out extensive research and clinical studies into this ground breaking machine and have supplied the information to the American government with the aim of achieving FDA approval (certification is due imminently).

In addition, Laser Lipo Ltd has placed a Lapex BCS with a leading French specialist, Dr Phillipe Blanchemaison for his valuable opinion. After just three weeks of evaluation Dr Blanchemaison is now purchasing an entire system for his Paris-based clinic during 2008.

In the UK, Laser Lipo Ltd have approached a leading reconstruction and cosmetic surgeon - Mr Brent Tanner - to evaluate the BCS. He will use it on its own and in conjunction with traditional Liposuction to see the full benefits of the Body Contouring System.

The laser-based system has emerged out of sports injury treatment where for the past decade or so physiotherapists have been using Cold Red laser to assist the body's healing process and reduce swelling and inflammation. The Class 3B Cold red lasers do penetrate the skin but only to a depth of a maximum of 13mm. This safeguards against any side effects or even potential damage to organs and blood vessels. A key benefit of Laser Lipo is that the process does not remove fat cells as such, and thus there is no risk of new fat being stored in other, perhaps more dangerous areas around the body.

With endorsement from leading medical and cosmetic practitioners, and the fact that the basis of the treatment is well proven in the sports injury arena, clients can be reassured that this revolutionary new procedure really is risk-free.

So how does it work? It's a simple 5-step process which can shave inches off the offending areas.

- After completing the necessary paperwork and having the offending areas being measured

- Two large Diode laser paddles are placed on the fatty areas

- Two smaller Probe lasers are placed over lymphatic glands and held in place by your underwear

- The Laser Lipo BCS will then be switched on for 10 minutes, relocated and turned on for another 10 minutes and repeated again

- The treated area will be measured to assess inch loss achieved. Depending on the client results are expected to be between 0.5 and 3 inches

- This is rounded off by a 10-minute stint on a vibration plate machine to help break down the fat cells.

The breaking down of the fat cells starts when the laser penetrates the skin and makes contact with the fat cells. Pores form on the cells causing them to 'sweat'. The water, Glycerol and free fatty acids emerge from the cells and then occupy the space beneath the fatty layer in the skin. The fat cells reduce in size and the lymphatic system then removes the fatty liquids through the venous system, where they are processed in the same way as fatty foods that are digested.

Not only is the procedure quick, safe and pain-free, it is also healthy. Post-treatment advice from Heath House Clinic is to encourage their clients to follow a sensible health and exercise routine. The Laser Lipo procedure does not harm the body in any way and will still maintain its ability to store fat in the areas where the work has been carried out. This is an important health factor as it prevents the fat being stored in different parts such as around the heart or other vital organs. If clients eat sensibly and regularly, combined with exercise, the body shape will retain the effects of the Laser Lipo treatment.
